Ah, the lovely lady Catherine de Bourgh. Well it's better than the movie because at least she doesn't come in the middle of the night. I always though that part was odd. What a horrid way to conduct introductions. "AND that I suppose is one of your sister." I can just see this old lady with her nose in the air saying that!

Thought the movie does show the scene between Catherine de Bourgh and Elizabeth quite well. Except that they say much more. I still can not believe Catherine would dare to do that.

I do wonder what happens to Catherine de Bourgh's daughter after Elizabeth marries Darcy. I wonder if she was happy about it and found her own happiness or if she truly thought she would marry Darcy.
