Chapter 52
I say what is a little copse?? It was mentioned a few chapters ago. And now here it is again.
"She was no sooner in possession of it than, hurrying into the little copse, where she was least likely to be interrupted..."
Copse meaning a small group of trees... Okay then. I thought it would be a building of some sort. Guess now. I wonder what the appeal of a small group of trees is to Elizabeth and her Father. At least there is a bench
Oh I love her aunt's letter, it explains to much. I am so happy that the Gardiner's now hold Mr. Darcy in high esteem. Poor Elizabeth, now she feels like she owes everything to Mr. Darcy for restoring everything to Lydia. And he did it without expecting anything back and without Lydia's gratitude.
What a horrible thing Mr. Wickham has said about Miss Darcy! I am shocked! The things that come out of his mouth! If I was Elizabeth I would not be speaking so kindly to him. I would most definitely tel him everything and not pleasantly.
But of course Elizabeth exceeds my expectations and handles herself very well and does a very good job! I wish I could act so eloquently.
