Chapter 51
I am just as disgusted as Elizabeth. Lydia is still the horrible Lydia she was before. Though I suppose that shouldn't be a surprise. She has learned nothing through the whole ordeal. Actually I must say Lydia is worse than before, because now she thinks she has something to hold over the other girls.

Lydia is horrible with secrets I am surprised it took this long to come out that Mr. Darcy was there. I am glad Elizabeth wrote for an explanation. I am most curious to hear what is to be said about the matter.

I do sorta wish Jane wasn't ... well Austen put it like this "Jane's delicate sense of honour would not allow her to speak to Elizabeth privately of what Lydia let fall" because it would be a most curious conversation. And I would very much like to hear what all they thought. If only they would chat!!

I suppose I will have to wait for Mrs Gardiner's explanation!
